Leonardo J. Caraballo concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial real estate transactions, condominium and homeowner association documentation, and commercial and real estate lending. Mr. Caraballo represents developers, investors and lenders in residential, commercial and industrial projects throughout Florida. His experience includes representation of clients in all phases of real estate acquisitions, dispositions, construction, and development. Mr. Caraballo has experience negotiating and drafting reciprocal easement agreements, development agreements, and joint venture agreements. He also has experience dealing with title insurance matters, survey examination, conceptualizing planned community development issues and drafting the governing documents necessary for the development and operation of commercial and residential projects, including documentation for master planned communities, mixed-use communities, planned unit developments and condominium-hotel projects.
Mr. Caraballo is admitted to practice in the State of Florida and is a member of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law and Environmental and Land Use sections of The Florida Bar.
Mr. Caraballo received his bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Latin American Studies from Tulane University in 1997. He earned his juris doctor degree from the Tulane University School of Law in 2001, where he received a Certificate in Environmental Law and was a member of the Environmental Law Clinic. Mr. Caraballo received his Master of Laws in Real Property Development from the University of Miami School of Law in 2002.
