Robb Udell was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He graduated from the Pennsylvania State University where he earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Finance with a minor in Business Law and was appointed to the Dean’s List. Mr. Udell worked in consulting prior to attending the Villanova University School of Law in Philadelphia. At Villanova, Mr. Udell was awarded the Patrick J. O’Connor Scholarship Award for Academic Excellence. His professional experience during law school included working for the Governor’s Office of General Counsel for the State of Pennsylvania as well as clerking for the Honorable Genece E. Brinkley in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas.
Mr. Udell focuses his practice in the areas of real property tax appeals and real estate law. He has experience in challenging the valuation of real estate tax assessments for income producing properties such as hotels, condominium complexes, shopping centers, single tenant retail stores, warehouses, and offices as well as non-income producing properties such as vacant land and high value residences. Additionally, Mr. Udell works on obtaining and appealing homestead and agriculture exemption status as well as obtaining historic preservation tax credits.
Mr. Udell is admitted to practice in Florida and New Jersey. He is a member of the Real Property, Probate, and Trust Law section of the Florida Bar. Mr. Udell provides pro bono representation for the non-profit organization Habitat for Humanity. While not working, his interests include dogs, sports, film, and music.
